The mythical Chimera, daughter of Typhon and Echidna and curator of despair and destruction, terrorized Lycia. This hybrid beast can be represented by each element featured in these songs. Towards the anterior, a lion’s head and forelegs symbolize the steadfast bass; the rear, containing a hellish serpent, serves as swift percussion; and the torso, complete with a fire-breathing goat’s head, embodies the fierce electric guitars, synths, and sharp strings.
